The holiday cottage is located in the village Beauregard in the Lot department.

The Lot is known as the wonderland, owing it to the variety of its landscapes, the richness of its heritage, its well-known gastronomy, and its cultural and sport activities open to our hosts.

Beauregard is located in the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park. That protected area offers an exceptional fauna, flora, and architecture.  You can go on a walk and visit prehistoric caves, dolmens, Gallo-Roman roads, pigeonholes, wash houses, dry-stone walls, etc. A listed hall of the 14th century is located in downtown Beauregard.

‘A surprise is awaiting you at each step.’  You will be subjugated by the Lot Valley and its villages located in the cliffs overlooking the river. The river’s fresh and lush valley is sprinkled with castles.  Make a stop and savor the famous black wine in one of the numerous wine-growing estates of the region.

Saint Cirq LapopieSAINT-CIRQ LAPOPIE : The French people elected Saint-Cirq Lapopie their "favorite village". You will fall under the spell of the scenic character of that village, its typical narrow streets, its castle, its museum, and its stunning view on the valley. Walk through the towpaths full of history along the river.

RocamadourROCAMADOUR : That ‘castle of the faith’ located in the cliffs remains a must-see attraction in the region and is one of the most visited villages in France. Walk through its winding narrow streets and its monumental staircase. Admire its fortified gates.  Rocamadour is also an important pilgrimage site. Many pilgrims come to worship the Black Virgin and the tombstone of Saint Amadour.

Cahors CAHORS : That provincial administrative centre has an important architectural heritage. Visit the Valentré bridge, which is listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Each summer, a sound and light show is hosted on the bridge to tell the town’s history. You will also discover the Henry IV’s house, the fountain of Chartreux, the old city, and its narrow streets.

Villefranche de RouergueVILLEFRANCHE de ROUERGUE : The holiday cottage is located close to the Aveyron department. You will have the opportunity to visit this dynamic and typical small town and to savor the culinary specialties of the region.

The Most Beautiful Visits

FigeacFIGEAC : The former small rural town has since the first half of the 20th century seen the arrivai of the aviation firm Ratier, specialised in the design and production of aircraft parts. In recent years the ambitious cultural policy of the town, notably the Champollion museum with "Les Ecritures du Monde", has accentuated the singularity of its image of a small town respectful of the past and open to modernity.

Grotte de Pech-MerlePECH MERLE CAVE : You will be able to admire its prehistoric paintings, including the famous punctuated horses, while walking through its different galleries.  The cave’s stalactites, stalagmites, columns, draperies, and discs are of a high geological interest.

Phosphatière Cloup D'AuralPhosphatières du CLOUP d'AURAL : That open-pit mine from the end of the 19th century comprises a special flora. Guided tours are organized.

Gouffre de PadiracPADIRAC CHASM: More than a visit, an adventure! Go down that magnificent 103-meter abyss and navigate its underground river on board of a small boat. Continue the visit on foot to admire the giant stalactite and the ‘rain’ lake. The Padirac Chasm is one of the most well-known abysses within France.

Croisière sur le LotCRUISES on the LOT: The Lot River is a navigable waterway for 75 km and includes 17 locks. Navigate the river and its meanders on board of a boat for a guided or a gastronomic tour. Discover the vineyard of Cahors and the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park with its towering cliffs.
